Scope and acceptance

Please read these Terms before using our services or making a purchase. When you register or purchase a service, you agree to the applicable Terms and the offer presented to you. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how personal data and browser storage are handled; accepting these Terms is not consent to optional tracking or unrelated data processing.

These Terms apply to the languages and learning features available on the platform from time to time. Availability may vary by course, plan, location, or device. Specific purchase conditions supplement these Terms and must be disclosed before checkout. Mandatory legal rights and binding offers are preserved.

Accounts and eligibility

Provide accurate account information, keep it up to date, and protect your sign-in credentials. Do not share your account or use another person’s account without authorization. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must have legal capacity to enter into a contract or act with the representation or assistance required by law. Users under 18 must involve a parent or legal guardian as required for account use and purchases. This does not replace our obligations to protect children and adolescents or any legally required age checks and parental authorization.

Learning services and availability

Our materials and tools support language learning. Results depend on factors including practice, prior knowledge, and the services selected. Unless expressly stated in an offer, we do not promise a particular level of fluency, examination result, certification, or professional outcome.

Examples, translations, dictionary entries, and other educational content may contain errors, including where automated tools assist in their preparation. Please report inaccuracies. We may maintain, correct, or improve the service, and will provide appropriate notice of material changes affecting paid access and the remedies required by law.

Purchases, subscriptions, and cancellations

Before purchase, the offer and checkout identify the service, price, currency, applicable charges, duration, and any recurring billing. A subscription renews only on the terms disclosed and agreed at checkout. Any change to a recurring price will be communicated before it applies, allowing cancellation before the new charge.

You can cancel a recurring membership through the available account controls or by contacting support. Unless a refund or earlier termination is required by law or the offer, cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period. Lesson scheduling, rescheduling, package validity, and cancellation conditions must be stated in the relevant offer before purchase.

Where the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code applies, eligible purchases made online carry a seven-day right of withdrawal, counted from signature of the contract or receipt of the product or service, as applicable. Contact support to exercise this right and receive reimbursement of amounts paid as required by law. Other statutory rights concerning defective services, refunds, or cancellation remain available. These Terms do not create a blanket “no refunds” rule.

Intellectual property and permitted use

The platform, branding, software, and learning materials belong to us or their respective rights holders. Subject to these Terms and any stated license, you may access materials for your personal learning and use downloads or sharing features where provided.

Except with permission or where applicable law permits, you may not resell, sublicense, republish, or commercially exploit protected materials. Do not remove ownership notices, bypass access or payment restrictions, or copy protected content in bulk. Linking to publicly available pages is permitted.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, harass others, impersonate another person, distribute malware, or interfere with the security or operation of the platform. Automated access must not bypass restrictions, collect other users’ personal data without a lawful basis, or place an unreasonable load on the service.

Content you provide

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and technically adapt that content only as needed to provide the features you request and operate the service. This may include use by service providers on our behalf. Public display applies only to content you submit to a public feature, such as a teacher profile.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for your submissions. The license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited retention in backups, legal records, or material already lawfully shared with others. It does not authorize unrelated advertising or unlimited commercial reuse. Personal data remains subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Suspension and account closure

We may restrict access or remove content where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, security risks, or a legal obligation. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond or correct the issue. Immediate action may be necessary to prevent harm or comply with law.

You may request account closure through support. Closure does not remove payment obligations already lawfully incurred or statutory refund and data protection rights. We will not use suspension or termination to avoid obligations relating to paid services.

Third-party services and responsibility

The platform may integrate sign-in, payment, video, or other services supplied by third parties. Their terms may apply to your use of those services. We remain responsible for our own obligations and for any responsibility that applicable law assigns to us.

We take reasonable care in providing the service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every error will be avoided. Liability is determined under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer guarantees or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or requires you to indemnify us for our own fault.

Changes, language, and interpretation

We may update these Terms and will display the revision date. Material changes affecting an existing contractual relationship will be communicated with reasonable advance notice where appropriate, and fresh agreement will be sought where legally required. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or alter completed purchases.

These Terms and our policies are provided in English. The language of learning materials does not change the governing law or your rights. If you need clarification, contact support. No language or interpretation provision limits mandatory rights to clear and accessible information.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later.

Brazilian law and dispute jurisdiction

These Terms and disputes relating to the services are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, including applicable consumer and data protection legislation.

Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Brazil, with territorial jurisdiction determined by applicable law. Consumers retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their domicile where the law provides. This clause does not override mandatory jurisdiction rules or non-waivable protections that apply to a user in another country.

You may contact support to try to resolve a concern, but doing so is not a prerequisite to seeking a court, consumer protection authority, or data protection regulator.
